The band the guys I hang around with play on the same bill with them about once a month. Actually, their drummer used to be a client of mine. Little Buddy Rodeo stemmed from the guys talking to Mike Rhyner (The Hard Line) of 1310/1700/104.1 The Ticket [ www.theticket.com ] (My favorite radio station(s)). He had this facination with warthogs from Hannibal.. and the neverending facination with midgets. Anyway, they said they could write a song about anything, so he said he wanted a song about midgets and warthogs. They sent in a tape the next week w/ Little Buddy Rodeo on it. Totally nuts. Their live show is really out of hand... mix that with The Gobos [ www.thegobos.com ] and it's a total meltdown on a 1st friday at Dada in Deep Ellum (plug). I wish 'B!tch Stol' My Liquor' wasn't a broken link.. that song cracks me up.. but the all time greatest song they do it MoFo... I had Eggman singing it in the garage last weekend, he's got his fiance singing it. I think the Gobos might cover it just to screw with Honchie. OK, I'm done.
